External examiners appointed by NEBOSH mark assessments. These examiners are chosen for their experience and expertise to ensure that learners are assessed by the best in our industry

There are no formal entry requirements for the NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate.

However, learners will benefit from:

  • Basic understanding of workplace operations
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand English. NEBOSH recommends that learners undertaking this qualification reach a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests.
