NEBOSH (International General Certification) IGC in Occupational Safety and Health is a level 3 International qualification. It’s a globally accepted certification that requires no attestation. If you are 18 years old with CNIC and have passed Intermediate, associate diploma, graduation, or any certification above that, you can apply for it. You must have medium-level English skills and computer knowledge. If you are a matric student or below 18 years old, you aren’t eligible to be admitted to Qanmos College.

How do you attempt the Exam?

Open Book Exam: Unit IG1 is assessed with the OBE exam pattern. It’s a home-based exam, with duration of 24 hours. You can consult books, internet, or any other resource during the exam. It’s a scenario-based conceptual exam. Avoid direct copy-pasting from any resource and write in your own wording. Also, provide links of outsourced information as reference to avoid plagiarism. You must achieve 45 marks out of 100 to pass it.

Risk Assessment Report: Unit IG2 is assessed with a risk assessment report. It’s not a direct exam as of IG1, but you have to make a practical risk assessment report. It consists of 4 parts to complete and pass it. Part 1 is Description of your organization. Part 2 is Observation of potential hazards and their control measures. Part 3 is Justification of suggested control measures and part 4 is Review of Risk Assessment Report. It doesn’t have any passing marks, but you must meet all the required criteria to pass it.
